1. Take a
diagnostic
5. Ace the
exam
2. Create a
plan
4. Take practice tests
A Step-By-Step Approach:
Our students begin by taking a full-length SAT or ACT diagnostic. Then we use our specialized scoring program to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses based on our Perfect Score Points, a point-wise system of assigning value to each concept. This tells you what you need to work on to improve your score and how much you are likely to increase it as a result.
Your instructor will inform you when he or she thinks you are ready for your next full-length practice test. Take the test at home or in our office with a class that is running at the same time. Once you are finished, get a new score report and see how much you've improved!
After you have completed all of your sessions, you will be ready to take your Target Exam. Use the methods, strategies, and advice you've received in your training to show everyone what a great test-taking expert you've become. Results come back in approximately 3 weeks. Let your instructor know how you did--he or she will be waiting eagerly to hear.
3. Meet your
instructor
6. Apply to
college
Set up your first meeting with your assigned tutor. Enjoy a great first lesson in basic strategy, get your materials, and set up a schedule for future sessions. Our instructor will model methods and strategies, as well as work with you on problem sets customized to your needs based on your established Prep Plan.
Use our 12-page Prep Plan to determine your goals and which test to register for as your Target Exam Date. Figure out how many meetings you need, when you will take practice tests for assessment, and what will be the most convenient meeting place for your 1:1 sessions.
